  • Download the HP Print & Scan Doctor software from HP’s official page.
  • Make sure that your HP 8020 printer is turned ON. Now, double-click on the downloaded installer.
  • Click the Yes button followed by Accept.
  • In the application window, click the Start button.
  • Now, the utility will try to detect the HP printer connected to your computer.
  • Once it is done, the detected printer will be displayed on the screen.
  • Select your HP printer and click the Next button.
  • If your printer is not displayed on the screen, then click the My product is not listed button.
