Physical check

Set The Printer Status To Online Manually

  • On your Windows 7 computer, click the Startmenu available at the bottom-left corner of the desktop.
  • From the pop-up menu, click the Control Panel tab to launch the Control Panel
  • Next, click the Devices and Printers tab in the Control Panel window and locate your printer’s icon.
  • Right-click on your printer’s icon and select theSee what’s printing
  • Click the Printer tab in the pop-up window and deselect the Use Printer Offline This will bring back your printer status to Online.

Remove all the pending print jobs

  • Open the Control Panelapp on your Windows computer and click the Devices and Printers
  • Locate your printer’s icon and give a right-click on it.
  • Select the See what’s printing
  • In the pop-up window, right-click on each print job and select Cancel.
  • You can also cancel all the print jobs by selecting the Cancel All Documents option under the Printer
  • Next, right-click on your printer’s icon and select the Set As Default Printer option to set your printer as the default printing source on your computer. Doing so will fix printer offline issue on Windows 7 computer. If the problem persists, remove and reinstall the printer driver on your computer.
